Thaveevong Industry Co., Ltd. was founded in 1985 by Mr. Wichai Thavornthaveevong, who is currently the company’s President. The company manufactures and distributes processed seafood products from frozen minced fish meat (surimi), such as Fish Chip (flavored minced fish coated with breadcrumbs), Chikuwa (which we were the first to produce in Thailand), and dried seafood, such as Dried Yellow Stripe Trevally and Dried Sardine. With our extensive experience and commitment, Thaveevong now offers a variety of high-quality products that have been developed to meet the needs of our customers, such as Shrimp Bomb, Variery types of Imitation Crab Sticks, licensed products such as Angry Birds Fishcake, and products that have been developed and patented, and many more. The company has a registered capital of 500 million baht, currently has 2,000 employees, and has a production capacity of 3,000 tons per month.

We place great emphasis on quality control of all products and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with the highest industry and environmental standards. As a result, the company has been certified with HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, ISO/IEC 17025:2008, Q-Mark and OTOP 5-star . In addition, Thaweewong products have been certified by the Islamic Committee of Thailand to use the Halal symbol.

In Thailand, Thaveevong products are widely distributed in hotels, restaurants, convenience stores and leading supermarkets throughout the country. 

Internationally, the company exports its products to Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and many other countries around the world.

Establishment

Thaveevong Industry Co., Ltd was founded on March 8, 1985, in Samut Sakhon Province, Thailand. The company began as a small business producing skewered sweet fish snacks. Later Thaveevong developed the products Fish Chip and Chikuwa, which we were first company to introduce to Thailand market.

Halal Certification

Our products are primarily made from fish meat and adhere to the standards set by the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand. Therefore, we have been received HALAL Certification from The Central Islamic Council of Thailand since 2008.

Factory Relocation

As the company grew, the management decided to relocate the production site in 2008 to increase production capacity and elevate production standards to international levels.

Shrimp Bomb

The company places great emphasis on innovation in production. Therefore, we are constantly developing new products. In 2002, we were the first in Thailand to develop Shrimp Bomb product.

HACCP / GMP CERTIFICATE

Shortly after relocating the factory, on June 20, 2003, the company received HACCP/GMP certification to ensure product safety.

The company is committed to continuous improvement of its production standards. On December 9, 2004, the company was certified ISO9001.

October 22, 2014,The company received the THAILAND TRUST MARK award from the Department of International Trade Promotion.

ISO/IEC 17025

April 27, 2016, the company received ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the Laboratory Standards Division, Department of Medical Sciences. This is a laboratory accreditation for the microbiological analysis that we use to test products manufactured by the company.

On December 20, 2018, the company received the THE PRIME MINISTER’S INDUSTRY AWARD to confirm the company’s potential.

GREEN INDUSTRY LEVEL 2

We focus not only on product development but also on environmental care. On February 19, 2020, we received Green Industry Level 2 certification from the Ministry of Industry.

To enhance consumer confidence in food safety, the company has been certified to ISO 22000 standards on May 27, 2022.

On December 18, 2023, the company was certified to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

We are committed to continuous improvement in environmental management. On January 3, 2024, the company was certified Green Industry Level 3 by the Ministry of Industry.
